Better enjoy the weather Thursday. You're likely to miss it when it's gone.

After a cool start, it's expected to be sunny and warm Thursday, with a light breeze and a high of 57 degrees, 5 above the average this time of year, Channel 2 Action News chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.

But there is a lot more rain ahead in the coming days as a series of fronts move through the metro Atlanta area starting Friday, Burns said.

Friday, there is a 40 percent chance of rain with lows in the low 40s and a high of 62, he said.

There is a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday as another front moves through, he said. Expect highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-50s.

Sunday, the chance of rain is cut to 20 percent with highs in the mid- to upper-60s and lows  in the 40s, he said.
