It's been a warm week in metro Atlanta, and that's not likely to change.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s, Channel 2 Action News chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said. The average high for this time of year is 68, he said. There is a 20 percent chance of rain.

The possibility of rain bumps up to 50 percent Friday, with showers expected to fire up around lunchtime, Burns said. Highs will be in the mid-70s and lows in the low 60s.

Showers are in Saturday's forecast as well, with a 30 percent chance of rain and highs reaching 80.

Sunday looks to be even warmer, Burns said, with sunny skies and a high of 84 degrees.
