Atlanta’s trash pickup schedule will be pushed back for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the city announced.

There will be no trash collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day, causing a one-day delay in pickup. Both holidays fall on a Wednesday.

Residents who normally get their trash picked up on Wednesday will get services on Thursday. The schedule will be on a one-day delay the remainder of both weeks.

The regular collection schedule will resume Jan. 6.
