Atlanta police are looking for the man who shot a taxi driver Wednesday afternoon.

Driver Theodore Jackson picked up two men on Caroline Street and was told to take them near the federal penitentiary, but they changed their minds and asked to be taken to the 1800 block of Henry Thomas Drive, police said. While they argued about the payment after arriving at their destination, a third man came up to the vehicle, opened the front seat passenger door and shot the driver, authorities said.

"The man who came up to the door shot him in the stomach and all three males left the vehicle," Investigator Michael Graham told Channel 2 Action News.

Police describe the two men in the cab as persons of interest.

Authorities want anyone with information on case to contact the Atlanta police.
