Atlanta police Monday were trying to find the armed men who allegedly kidnapped a northwest Atlanta resident during a home invasion.
Late Saturday night, officers responding to the 200 block of Wynnwood Drive were met by a woman who told them she had been sexually assaulted during a home invasion at a house in the 2000 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.
"The victim also advised that several suspects wearing red bandannas entered the home and put duct tape on everyone and placed them on the floor," Jones said. "The victim advised the suspects then took the owner of the house, ‘Foosie,' identified as Demetrius Pullins, and took him to his other house looking for cash."
When police went to the initial crime scene on Donald Lee Hollowell, a second man, 23-year-old Robert Whithrack, "showed up and advised he was in the home when the suspects entered," Jones said. "Mr. Whithrack also had duct tape marks around his forearm area."
Jones said Whithrack told police that the suspects left with Pullins in Pullins' tan Ford Explorer.
Police then went to Pullins' second home on Markone Street and forced entry, but Pullins was not inside.
Pullins was later dropped off by his abductors on Atwood Avenue, police said.
