Police are looking for three men involved in a early morning shooting in Buckhead.

Two men were sitting in a car behind the Darlington apartment building at 2025 Peachtree Road shortly after midnight Friday morning, police spokesman Sgt. Curtis Davenport said.

Two other men, who apparently knew the man in the front passenger’s seat, arrived and got into the back seat of the car.

One of the men pulled a gun on the driver, and the other man up front left.

At some point, both men in the back seat got out of the car, and one of them fired through the windshield into the car, striking the driver in the shoulder, Davenport said.

The man drove to a nearby gas convenience store where he called for help, Davenport said.

The motive of the shooting is unclear, police said.

The shooter is described as a black male in his early 20s, about 5-foot-4-inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds and wearing a green Atlanta baseball hat, white t-shirt and black jeans.

A second man was as a light-skinned black male about 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and wearing dark blue jeans, a white grafitti t-shirt and a red hoodie.

There was no description on the third man.
