Atlanta police arrest two men in May shooting death of East Point man

June 13, 2013Atlanta police arrested two men Wednesday for the shooting death of a man last month in southwest Atlanta.
Drexel L. Berry, 24, was shot in the leg, arm and back behind a house on Cooper Street on May 29, according to police.
The East Point man then ran a couple of blocks before seeking aid from someone on the porch of a home on Pryor Street. He died at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon said Quantavious Guffie, 26, and Freedell Benton, 22, were arrested on murder warrants Wednesday during a traffic stop and taken to the Fulton County Jail.
