Atlanta Council honors Pinado

May 17, 2011

Commercial real estate mogul Alan E. Pinado, who was instrumental in promoting homeownership among African Americans and helping a substantial number of minority-owned businesses get started, was honored this week by the Atlanta City Council.

Councilman Aaron Watson presented Pinado with a proclamation.

The Buckhead resident is also noted for organizing the Real Estate Institute of Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University, where he taught for 16-years and mentored hundreds of students who now work nationally in all aspects of commercial real estate.
