Residents who want to tour Fort McPherson can do so on Friday, April 13. Atlanta City Councilwoman Joyce Sheperd is coordinating community bus tours of the closed Army garrison southwest of downtown Atlanta.
The April 13 tour will run from noon to 2 p.m. All attendees must sign up by April 9 to save a spot. For tour start location, or to RSVP, contact Sheperd's office at 404-330-6053 or email jmsheperd@atlantaga.gov.
