Atlanta Beltline race early Saturday morning
It will be cops versus firefighters Saturday morning for the second Atlanta Beltline Running Series event – the Southwest 5K run/walk through the historic West End and Westview neighborhoods.
The run features a friendly competition between the Atlanta Police and Fire Departments and the local media.
The event kicks off at 7:30 a.m and participants are encouraged to arrive no later than 6:45 a.m. for parking, registration and number pick-up.
Registration is at Brown Middle School, 765 Peeples St., S.W.
