Atlanta Public Schools will hold summer academies for students entering grades 3-12. At the high school level, the program will help students who scored below 500 on the Georgia High School Graduation Test, and those who need end of course credits. It will take place June 4-29 at all Title 1 schools and is free of charge. The summer academy for rising 3-8 graders will expose students to the new Common Core state standards to prepare them for the next grade.
