American Cancer Society Georgia Community Leadership Board announced
The American Cancer Society Southeast Region has announced its Georgia Community Leadership Board of Directors, according to a press release. Marquetta J. Bryan, of counsel at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, has accepted the position of board chair while Clint Smith, account executive at Atlanta magazine, is vice chair.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome our new distinguished members, all of whom bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Society and the cause of fighting cancer,” says Rena Cozart, executive director, Community Development, American Cancer Society. “The American Cancer Society is in its second century of leading the global effort to eliminate cancer as a major health threat, and I’m confident that this group’s talent, strength, and commitment to providing strong leadership will continue the remarkable progress that’s been made to save more lives from this disease.”
