Emory University will display 1,432 panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt on Dec. 1 to mark World AIDS Day.
This will be the largest display showcased by the college and the biggest on any college campus, Emory officials said.
The panels will be on display from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the McDonough Field on campus. Another 25 panels will arranged at other locations on campus.
The foundation that curates the quilt is based in Atlanta. The entire quilt includes more than 40,000 panels.
