One of Acworth’s six recycling centers has moved from McClain Circle to 4231 Industrial Center Lane for single stream.

Single stream is a system in which all recyclables, including newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum and junk mail, are placed in a single bin or cart for recycling.

Other recycling centers are located at:

  • Acworth Elementary School, 4220 Cantrell Road for newspapers
  • Kenworth Park, 4100 South Main St. for aluminum cans, single stream and cooking oil
  • North Cobb High School, 4100 South Main St. for paper, single stream and aluminum cans
  • Cobb County Fire Department for cardboard and single stream
  • Acworth Recycling, 5497 North Main St. for electronics, batteries, ink cartridges and contact dealers
