Two assisted living health care facilities will be considered by Acworth city officials during public hearings next month.

Special land use permits are being requested by Centric Development LLC for one at 3114 Cobb Pkwy NW and by Michael Socoloff for the other facility at 4967 Cowan Road, according to legal notices.

The hearings will be held by Mayor Tommy Allegood and the Board of Aldermen at 6:30 p.m. April 4 in the Board Room, Austell City Hall, 4415 Senator Richard Russell Ave.

Final decisions by the aldermen are expected at 7 p.m. April 7 in the same room.
