After eluding police for more than two weeks, a man accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl inside a church van was arrested Friday afternoon in North Carolina, according to police.

Eric Brown, 41, a former employee of Zion Hill Baptist Church, also allegedly molested the girl at his home, according to Investigator Thomas Gilliard with the Atlanta Police Department's Fugitive Squad.

An arrest warrant was secured for Brown on child molestation charges on June 19, Gilliard told the AJC. But officers had been unable to locate the man until Friday afternoon. Where Brown was apprehended and the circumstances surrounding his arrest were not immediately available late Friday.

In addition to working with youth at the Campbellton Road church, the Atlanta man also previously ran a tutoring business called the Academic Clinic, Gilliard said.

"We need to know if there is somebody else that might be a victim because of the type of business he ran," Gilliard said.

Anyone with more information about the case, or any potential victims, is asked to contact Atlanta police.
