The ramp from Riverstone Parkway (Ga. 140) to southbound I-575 in Canton will be closed for bridge work during the daytime for about four weeks starting Tuesday, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

The ramp closure, at Exit 20, will continue every day from 8 a.m. until crews finish for the day, no later than sundown, GDOT said. Crews will be removing fallen tree branches and other debris from underneath the ramp’s bridge over the Etowah River.

“During the repairs, motorists will be detoured to I-575 north to Exit 24 and then directed to take I-575 south,” GDOT said. “Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.”
