A second man has been arrested in connection with a March 12 shooting death, authorities said Tuesday.

DeAngelo Hickson died shortly after being shot at the Mountain Crest Apartments in unincorporated DeKalb County near Stone Mountain.

On Monday, members of the DeKalb Sheriff’s fugitive squad arrested Aaron Jewann Robinson without incident at a Doraville apartment.

Robinson, 20, like Shaquel Heppard, 18, has been charged with murder, according to an arrest warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Police said the 21-year-old Hickson was involved in an ongoing dispute with either Heppard or Robinson.

Around 10 p.m. on the night of the shooting, witnesses saw a white Chevrolet Impala enter the complex and heard a commotion shortly afterward, according to the warrant. Four men were seen standing next to the car, and one of them was seen raising his shirt to show a gun.

Thirty minutes later, police said, a witness saw one of the same individuals shooting toward an apartment building breezeway. The witness later identified the shooter, authorities said.

Robinson is being held without bond in DeKalb County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
