Multiple lane closures are planned this week for I-285 and Ga. 400 as part of the reconstruction of their interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Two right lanes of westbound I-285 from Ashford Dunwoody to Peachtree Dunwoody roads will be closed overnight so crews can excavate rock, the Georgia Department of Transportation said. The closures are 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 4-5, and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday-Friday, Sept. 5-7.

Meanwhile, two right lanes and two left lanes of southbound Ga. 400 will close alternately at nights at Mount Vernon Highway as crews do utility work on the Mount Vernon bridge. The work is 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 4-5, and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday-Friday, Sept. 5-7.

All work is weather permitting and subject to change, GDOT says. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
