With a city councilman who remains in jail after being arrested Thursday, Roswell has canceled its city council meeting, scheduled for Monday night.

Kent Igleheart has not yet posted his $30,000 bond after his arrest last week. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, enticing a child for indecent purposes and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Police said Igleheart, 53, had maintained a 4-year relationship with a DeKalb County girl beginning when she was 13.

The council meeting was canceled due to lack of a quorum and will be rescheduled, according to a notice. Last week, Roswell spokeswoman Julie Brechbill said she was aware of the arrest, but had no comment.

“We just don’t have enough information at this point,” Brechbill said.
