Meetings on $59 billion transportation plans

Metro Atlanta residents can get information about the region’s $59 billion transportation plans, and express their opinions, at two public forums this month. Although the region is considering an $8 billion transportation referendum next year, it also is planning for its regular $59 billion transportation budget through the year 2040.

The forums run from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.: on April 14 at Suwanee City Hall, and on April 19 at the Mansour Center in Marietta. The Atlanta Regional Commission is also holding a 24-hour online public meeting.
