MARTA board member named to national transit group board
MARTA board member Fred Daniels has been named to the executive committee of the American Public Transportation Association, an industry group that held a conference in Atlanta last week.
Daniels has served on the MARTA board since 2010 and previously served as its chairman. He has served on several APTA committees, including as chair of the APTA Transit Board Members’ Committee and the APTA board of directors. He will serve on the APTA executive committee until 2019.
Daniels is executive vice president and chief credit officer at Citizens Trust Bank.
