Locust Grove mayor won't seek re-election

Locust Grove Mayor Lorene Lindsey, 88, who has held her post for 10 years, will not seek re-election to another term. Lindsey was first elected in 1999. She told the Clayton Daily News she plans to “travel and do volunteer work, with United Way, Connecting Henry and Meals on Wheels.”
