DeKalb residents looking for work can meet with more than 25 employers during a job fair focused on hiring for construction of a county water treatment facility.

Most of the companies at the job fair, which is free and open to the public, are associated with Snapfinger Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility expansion.

The event will include computers for job-seekers to complete applications online, and translators will be available to assist non-English speaking candidates.

The fair will be held Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South DeKalb Mall in the Macy’s parking lot.

It will be hosted by DeKalb’s Department of Watershed Management Capital Improvement Projects Division in conjunction with Commissioner Larry Johnson’s annual Heart of South DeKalb Festival.
