Hurricane Irma: Cobb County, Marietta offices closed Monday

The Cobb County government and city of Marietta are closing non-essential offices and cancelling scheduled public meetings Monday in expectation of extreme weather associated with Hurricane Irma.

Irma is expected to reach the metro Area as a tropical storm Monday, with rain and high winds.

CobbLinc bus service will operate with changes.

Cobb Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate and Juvenile Courts will also be closed and jurors do not need to report.

Sanitation services for the city of Marietta have been suspended.
