Fulton County will close its government offices at 1 p.m. today as snow falls across Atlanta and the metro area.

Any programs scheduled after 1 p.m. Friday will be canceled or postponed. No decision has been made about scheduled events for the weekend, but residents can see updates on the county website, or by searching @FultonInfo on social media.

Other local governments have also closed their offices, including Alpharetta and Renaissance — the former city of South Fulton.

Fulton County crews are providing transportation services in Renaissance.

The walk-in court in Roswell scheduled for 1 p.m. has been canceled. People who were planning to come today can come Dec. 15 at 9 a.m.

In Alpharetta, government officials are asking residents to be off the roads by 5 p.m. so they can be treated.
