Former Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker has become an adviser and consultant to a Birmingham-based bio-fuels company.

Baker, who lost the Democratic gubernatorial primary last year after 14 years as AG, said Friday his work for Masada Resource Group matches his longtime interest in alternative energy development.

Baker said he will continue to work full-time as a partner at the Atlanta law firm McKenna Long & Aldridge. "I love working at the firm and am having a ball," Baker said.
