DeKalb property taxes due this month
Property tax bills are coming due this month for DeKalb County residents.
The first installment of their annual real estate and personal property taxes must be paid by Sept. 30, said DeKalb Tax Commissioner Irvin Johnson.
Payments that aren’t received or postmarked by the deadline will result in a 5 percent late fee.
Residents can make payments at drop boxes at the county tax office at 4380 Memorial Drive, or they can pay by mail or online. Credit card payments come with a 2.35 percent processing fee.
