A member of the DeKalb County Zoning Board of Appeals has resigned following a federal investigation of a bribery scandal.

Darryl Jennings Sr., who never faced criminal charges, didn’t provide an explanation for his Oct. 17 resignation.

Federal prosecutors had subpoenaed DeKalb government records related to Jennings in April 2015, and he had taken a leave of absence the following month.
