The rise of gang-related violence in DeKalb County will be discussed during a community forum Saturday hosted by District Attorney Robert James.

The meeting will include presentations from victims of gang violence, former gang members, county police and the district attorney's gang unit. The event will be moderated by radio personality Rashad Richey, a former gang member who now hosts "Real Talk with Rashad Richey" on WAOK-AM.

The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at The Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church at 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway in Decatur. RSVP for the event by emailing Ebony Phillips at eaphillips@dekalbcountyga.gov.
