Atlanta Mayor Reed to Obama: you’re our Jackie Robinson

Jan 20, 2017On the day that a new president was being inaugurated in office, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed was thanking the one who was leaving.
In a tweet, Reed thanked former President Barack Obama for his service and compared him to baseball legend Jackie Robinson.
"Thank you President @BarackObama for being our generation's Jackie Robinson," Reed wrote. "We will forever be grateful for you & your family's service."
President Donald Trump was inaugurated in Washington on Friday.
