Late-night shoppers at regional Kroger stores will have to adjust their schedules, according to reports.

Kroger recently announced it is reducing store hours, according to news outlet 11Alive.

Stores had various operating hours, but all stores in Georgia, eastern Alabama and South Carolina are now open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to 11Alive. Some stores had been open until midnight.

“The new hours will provide additional time for our associates to clean and sanitize stores in keeping with our COVID-19 protocols, as well as to organize and replenish shelves,” Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division, told 11Alive.
