Arachnophobia strikes again as another car accident was blamed on a spider.
In a post on Facebook, the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office wrote that an unidentified man, 26, of Grawn, Michigan, told authorities that while driving his car in Central Township, he became distracted by a spider on the vehicle's visor above his head.
The man drove his vehicle off the road and into a ditch, crashing into several trees and heavy brush.
The driver was uninjured but his 29-year-old female passenger sustained an injury to her wrist, according to the Facebook post.
