Photos: Substandard housing provided to Georgia's temporary farmworkers

These living quarters in Blackshear were provided in 2018 to temporary farmworkers who arrived through the H-2A program, which allows foreign farmworkers to legally come work in the U.S. for months at a time. Georgia is one of the top states to employ H-2A workers but the state lags in the number of H-2A housing inspectors. (Courtesy of Georgia Legal Services Program)
