George and Barbara Bush were pregame stars at the 2017 Super Bowl

The former first couple and presidential parents charmed the capacity crowd in Houston

The 2017 Super Bowl featured the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots, with Lady Gaga performing at halftime. But Barbara and George H.W. Bush were stars of the pregame show.

The former president and his wife were conveyed onto the field where Bush 41 performed the coin toss. The crowd at NRG Stadium in Houston went wild - check out the video clip below.

President Bush has died at 94, the family announced.

Barbara Bush died earlier this year at 92.

The two were married for 73 years, and began their life together with a honeymoon on the Georgia coast.
