Fort Gordon major arrested on child porn charges

A major at Fort Gordon in Augusta is facing child porn charges.
A U.S. Army major stationed at Fort Gordon in Georgia has been charged with distribution of child pornography.
Jason Michael Musgrove, 39, was charged in U.S. Southern District Court on Monday, according to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office.
Musgrove, from Grovetown, Georgia, is an integrated threat operations officer with top-secret clearance at the Army Cyber Joint Headquarters, which is near Augusta, Georgia.
According to court testimony and documents, Musgrove is charged in a case that happened on or about Dec. 5, 2019.
Magistrate Judge Brian Epps remanded Musgrove to the custody of U.S. Marshals.
The case is being investigated by the FBI and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command.
