Reporter keeps calm as spider crawls on her arm live on TV

TV reporters have to put up with a lot. On top of having to remain stoic in the face of breaking news while on-scene and speaking in a way that the average viewer can understand, there’s the off-chance that some unwanted company will interrupt a live shot.
That's what happened to former reporter Shannon Murray, now with Good Day Fox 4 in Fort Worth.
While reporting on a protest by American Airlines mechanics at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport early Wednesday morning, a spider made its way down Murray’s left arm.
If Murray noticed, she didn’t give any indication, but eagle-eyed viewers who spotted it quickly made note when the video was shared on Facebook.
"For those asking, YES I felt it! But I had no idea it was a spider until a VIEWER let me know on Facebook! EEK," Murray wrote on Good Day Fox 4's Facebook page.

Murray's moment of calm reporting in the face of arachnid distraction has gone viral, and she recently spoke to Good Day Orlando about the incident.
