Former doctor pleads guilty to more child exploitation charges
Convicted child molester Kelly Thrasher, a former Sandy Springs doctor, has pleaded guilty to four additional charges involving exploitation of children.
The latest plea, which came at a pre-trial hearing in DeKalb County on Friday, stemmed from four sexually suggestive photos of a 5-year-old that were found on his computer.
Thrasher was sentenced to 20 years in prison, to be served concurrently with his previous sentence in Fulton County.
Thrasher has been in prison after receiving a 25-year sentence in Fulton for assaulting a girl in 2012 during a sleepover at his home. He pleaded guilty in October in that case to child molestation and aggravated sexual battery, as well as other charges.
The DeKalb case involved photos taken at a Tucker home in May 2014.
