Photos: Georgia colleges make Princeton Review rankings lists

The Princeton Review college rankings are out and Georgia schools have made quite a few lists. The ranking lists are from The Princeton Review's Best 380 Colleges book, a collection of 62 ranking lists compiled from survey responses of 136,000 students at 380 top colleges across the country.

The University of Georgia has once again made the list of one of the country's top party schools. Ranked at 8th now, the university is moving further away from the previous two years when it was ranked at 15th and 11th. The list is based on student survey answers indicating high usages of alcohol and drugs on campus, low daily study hours outside of class and high Greek life popularity. UGA also ranked 4th on The Princeton Review's Lots of Hard Liquor list, 16th on the Students Study the Least list and 20th on the list of colleges with high involvement in intramural sports.

Georgia Tech ranked 15th on The Princeton Review's list of Best Athletic Facilities, a list based on student survey ratings.

Spelman University ranked 9th on the Princeton Review's Got Milk? list for low reported beer usage and 19th in the Stone-Cold Sober Schools category. Both lists are based on survey responses from students reporting low drug and alcohol use on campus, high daily study hour time outside of class and low popularity of Greek life on campus.

Emory University's Robert W. Woodruff library ranked at 11th on The Princeton Review's list of Best College Libraries. Emory also ranked 12th for Best Health Services and 18th for Lots of Race/Class Interaction, the latter based on students' answers to a survey question asking them to rate their agreement on the following statement: "Different types of students (black/white, rich/poor) interact frequently and easily at my school."

Mercer University ranked 8th on The Princeton Review's Is It Food? for low campus food ratings, 10th on the list of low college city rankings and 14th on the list of high student involvement in intramural sports. All of the lists are based on student survey results.

Ranked at 17, Agnes Scott College joins Spelman College on The Princeton Review's list of Stone-Cold Sober schools. The college also ranked 16th for Best Quality of Life, a ranking list based on student answers to several questions including how they rate safety, beauty, location, campus dorms and food, friendliness of students and staff, overall happiness and more.

Wesleyan College ranked 6th on The Princeton Review's list Got Milk? for low reported beer usage. The college also ranked 15th on the list of Least Happy Students, which is based on students' answers to the question: "Overall, how happy are you?"

Emory University is the most difficult school to get into in Georgia, according to the 2016 Niche.com rankings.
