A man wanted on kidnapping and rape charges in Virginia was found staying at a relative’s house in Douglas County and arrested Thursday, authorities said.

Nico Domonick Wilson, of Norfolk, Virginia, was taken into custody after deputies found him at his relative’s Douglasville home, the Douglas sheriff’s office said. After receiving information from detectives in Virginia Beach about Wilson’s whereabouts, deputies set up surveillance at the home and quickly identified Wilson.

Wilson was booked into the Douglas County Jail, where he is awaiting extradition to Virginia.
