Forest Park police are searching for a man suspected in a deadly shooting Sunday evening.

Investigators released a photo of 21-year-old Gilberto Eugene Teran, who remains at large after he fled the scene of the shooting, Forest Park police spokesman Sgt. Alyssa Zackery said in a news release. Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Teran, who was last seen with shoulder-length dark hair with blonde ends, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police responded to the shooting just before 6 p.m. Sunday in the 4800 block of Mitchell Street, Zackery said. At the scene, they found 30-year-old Adan Bautista-Lopez, of Forest Park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders attempted to give Bautista-Lopez first aid, but he was declared dead at the scene.

According to police, Teran and Bautista-Lopez knew each other prior to the shooting.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Teran is asked to call Forest Park police at 404-366-4141 or Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
