DeKalb County police are asking the public for help identifying a person of interest in a deadly shooting along I-285 last week.

The shooting, which left all westbound lanes closed for multiple hours during the evening commute along the Perimeter at I-675 on Tuesday, left a man dead, police said at the time. The victim was identified as 40-year-old Daniel Booth.

No suspects have been named, but investigators have asked the public to help identify the owner of a car in a photo they posted to social media. Police did not say how they believe the vehicle is involved, but the driver is wanted for questioning. It is a four-door sedan with a sticker in the center of its rear windshield.

Anyone with information is asked to call the department’s homicide assault unit at 770-724-7850.
