A South Fulton shopping plaza and nearby roads were closed for about an hour Monday afternoon, causing significant traffic delays, as police evacuated the center following a bomb threat at a Dollar Tree store.

The threat came in over the phone directly to the store at 6055 Old National Highway, police spokesman Lt. Jubal Rogers said. The search resulted in no suspicious devices being found.

The store is near the intersection with Flat Shoals Road. Commuters were advised to avoid the area after roads were shut down between Flat Shoals and Burdett Street, according to Channel 2 Action News.
