Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man they say was involved in a fatal shooting in southwest Atlanta more than two months ago.

Jyquez Harvey, 18, is wanted in the death of 20-year-old Julian Kolb, who was found shot in a West End residential area on Feb. 17, according to Atlanta police.

“Fugitive investigators are now requesting the public’s assistance in locating him,” authorities said.

Officers responded at around 4:40 p.m. that day to a person shot call in the 1300 block of Allegheny Street. Police said they found Kolb outside a home with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation determined Harvey was involved in the shooting and warrants were obtained for his arrest March 6. He is wanted on charges of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
