A man who was initially considered a person of interest in the alleged assault of a woman broadcast on Instagram Live has been identified by Clayton County police and is now facing criminal charges.

Four people were arrested Sunday and two additional suspects remain at large after Clayton County police responded to a social media outcry about the incident, described by police in a Tuesday news release as a “brutal beating.” Responding officers found the victim with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and she was taken to the hospital.

The two suspects who fled have been identified as 28-year-old Daniellie Moose and 19-year-old Javen Hill, Clayton police said Tuesday. Hill had not previously been identified but is now considered a suspect with warrants taken out against him on multiple felony charges. Investigators believe that both Hill and Moose are armed.

Daniellie Moose is wanted on aggravated assault and other charges in what police have described as the "brutal beating" of a woman broadcast on Instagram Live.

Late Monday night, Clayton police posted heavily edited clips from the Instagram Live video originally broadcast Sunday afternoon. The video reveals only the faces of people who were later charged in the incident.

A statement at the beginning of the video describes the original footage as “very graphic and disturbing to watch.” Several commenters on Instagram Live suggested the woman was being beaten on camera after she was accused of stealing.

Officers responded to the home in the 1300 block of Heather Circle in Riverdale around 1 p.m. after they were alerted to a possible crime in progress on social media. At the home, a woman answered the door and claimed the house was unoccupied, police said.

While officers were talking to the woman, one of the “many complainants” who contacted police on social media arrived at the scene, the release said. She was able to provide officers with video evidence from Instagram Live that showed there were multiple people inside the house.

“Due to the exigent circumstances, officers made entry into the home,” Clayton police said. Once inside, they said they found a woman behind a locked door with multiple injuries. Several occupants of the house were detained and interviewed.

The four people taken into custody have all been charged on identical counts: aggravated assault, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, making terroristic threats and tampering with evidence. The suspects who were arrested are Tynisha Blyther, 28; Courtney Fisher, 37; K’ayla Smith, 21; and Quintavious Grover, 19.

Clayton police are asking for the public’s help in locating Moose and Hill. Anyone with information is asked to call 770-477-3550.
