A woman suffered a gunshot wound and a man’s shoulder was injured when two men broke into their Atlanta home Saturday night, according to police.

Officers went to an apartment in the 800 block of Pryor Road shortly after midnight after receiving a call that someone had been shot. There, they found two victims — a man and a woman — who told police they were in a bedroom when two suspects forced their way into the home. One suspect fired a shot through the bedroom door, striking the woman in her arm, police said. The male victim injured his shoulder in a scuffle with the suspects. Both suspects then ran from the home, and left the scene in a dark colored SUV with tinted windows, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The woman was taken to Grady Memorial hospital in stable condition, police said.
