Woman sentenced to 25 years for shooting at police in Hall County

A woman convicted of shooting at Gainesville police officers last year was sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday, according to the Hall County District Attorney’s Office.
Alondra Rodriguez, 20, was found guilty of firing at two officers at a Burger King on Athens Street in November 2017.
The officers suffered minor injuries but were not shot during the incident.

Marcos Tovar
Marcos Tovar, 20, is also accused of being involved in the incident, and both led authorities on a brief manhunt before being arrested.

They were both charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer.
Tovar’s case is still pending.
