Woman says she was kidnapped, drugged and sexually assaulted at Roswell home

Police said they got a call from 911 from a woman who said she was kidnaped. Police found the woman at a home on Victory Ridge Lane Tuesday morning.

Police are investigating after rescuing a woman who said she was kidnapped in Clayton County and taken to a Roswell home where she was drugged and sexually assaulted by several men.

Roswell officers said they found the woman Tuesday morning at a home on Victory Ridge Lane after she was held captive for two days, Channel 2 Action News reported.

"She was brought here sometime Sunday evening from somewhere in College Park," Roswell police Lt. Noah Caplan told the news station. "During her time here, she'd been drugged and assaulted."

The woman told dispatchers she didn’t know where she was, but police used a new system called "Rapid SOS"to pinpoint her location.

"Normally, people call 911 from cellphones and we're able to get a general area, but with use of this new software, we were able to pinpoint exactly where this individual was and send officers directly to the location," Caplan said.

Police forced their way into the home to rescue the woman, but by the time they got there her captors were gone, authorities said.

Caplan said the woman knew one of the men, but police believe there could be two or three additional suspects. One of those people may have been renting the home, officers told Channel 2.

Anyone with information about the kidnapping investigation is asked to call Roswell police.
