The victim, who was not identified, told police that she got into a fistfight at a casino Monday evening with three women whom she did not know. During the fight, she lost her iPhone. An Orleans Parish sheriff’s deputy ordered that the victim and the women with whom she fought leave the casino after the fight.

When the victim got home, she called her cellphone. A woman answered and said she would bring the iPhone to the victim’s house.

The victim told police that she heard a knock on her door in the Hollygrove neighborhood 10 minutes later. As she opened the door to greet the stranger who found her phone, the woman and another pushed their way into the house and punched the victim several times in the face and body, she told police.

The victim’s daughter stopped the attack, police said.

The attackers rummaged through the victim’s purse and kept her phone when they left the house in a black Acura, according to authorities.

Police identified the suspected attackers as Keithshon Berryhill, 21 and Brittany Baham, 25. Both women are wanted on charges of aggravated burglary in the case.

Authorities continue to investigate.
