Thieves made off with more than a dozen rolls of lottery tickets Sunday afternoon after they smashed into a Texaco gas station in Cobb County, police told Channel 2 Action News.

The men backed into the Florence Road store in Powder Springs in a white Toyota Tundra, Channel 2 reported. One of the men jumped out of the truck, bolted to the counter and took the rolls of scratch-off tickets.

"There are so many things they could’ve taken, but they took the lottery tickets,” store owner Sunny Rishi told Channel 2.

But the thieves likely won’t cash in since the tickets will come back as stolen, according to Channel 2.

Police are searching for the Toyota Tundra.
